Tại sao em Tiến phải từ chức? -

Tôi gọi cô cựu Bộ trưởng Bộ Y tế là “em” đơn giản là vì tôi hơn cô ấy mấy tuổi, và về công tác ở Bộ Y tế thì tôi về trước 1 năm.

Còn nhớ lần ông cựu nghị viên Hoàng Hữu Phước bảo nghị viên kiêm kịch sĩ Dương Trung Quốc là “tứ đại ngu”, nghị “Cuốc” đã vin vào câu nghị Phước nói “dân trí ta còn thấp” tấn công nghị Phước, kích động đám kền kền báo chí tấn công Nghị Phước. Nghị Phước viết khá nhiều và khá bạo mồm nhưng trước trường văn trận bút vẫn còn non và bản lĩnh chưa cao nên đã “sẵn sàng từ chức Đại biểu Quốc hội”. Tôi thấy trước hết câu nói Nghi “Cuốc” tứ đại ngu là hoàn toàn đúng. Vì ý của ông này luôn là thiểu số và đều bị bác bỏ trên diễn đàn Quốc hội. Còn ý “dân trí ta thấp” thì càng đúng luôn vì thực tế nước ta không chỉ dân trí mà quan trí, trí thức trí cũng thấp luôn, trong đó có ngành Sử của Nghị Quốc mà Nghị Quốc và người từng đứng đầu ngành Sử, sếp của Dương Trung Quốc, là Phan Huy Lê là hai thí dụ sống động nhất. Vì vậy mà tôi đã ra tay viết bài bênh vực Nghị Phước và rồi sau đó tình thế đã đảo ngược hoàn toàn, Nghi Phước không phải từ chức gì cả.

Lần này với em Tiến cũng đứng trước dư luận tương tự như Nghị Phước. Chỉ tiếc là em đã từ chức nhanh quá. Tại sao thì tôi sẽ viết ở bài sau. Còn bài này tôi viết vì đọc một một thông tin cho rằng cô Bộ trưởng phải từ chức bởi là nạn nhân của một cuộc đấu đá đã sử dụng bọn kền kền báo chí kích động được dư luận bầy đàn của bọn dân ngu cu đen. Nó gợi lên trong tôi những kỷ niệm ngày mới vào đời, tôi và cái viện nghiên cứu của tôi (cũng thuộc Bộ Y tế) cũng là nạn nhân của một cuộc đấu đá. Tôi đã bị dứt ra khỏi công trình nghiên cứu thuốc chống ung thư, và sau đó, cái viện của tôi cũng tan rã! Không lẽ cái “gen” đấu đá của Bộ Y tế còn di truyền đến nay sao?

Như đã khoe tôi đang viết một cuốn sách bằng tiếng Anh xuất bản tại Mỹ. Xuất phát từ chuyện nói con trai tôi mua quà lưu niệm trên mạng, khi nhận được tôi thấy nơi bán chính là công ty Amazon, tôi nhớ ở VN tôi đã biết chuyện Huy Đức cũng bán sách trên công ty này nhưng chưa biết thủ tục ra sao? Trước khi qua Mỹ cũng tính hỏi thử xem? Huy Đức viết bậy mà còn in được, tôi viết chỉ ra cái sai của Huy Đức và nhiều người khác như Huy Đức, cho cả thế giới biết, không in được sao? Ông con tôi hay nói “Ba ở bên Mỹ là giầu lắm đấy”, ý nó nói là về cái việc tôi đã sáng chế và sản xuất các loại thuốc dinh dưỡng cho cây trồng. Lần này tôi sang Mỹ nó cũng nói lại với tôi như thế. Nhưng bây giờ tôi lớn tuổi rất ngại làm chuyện cũ, có điều tôi nghĩ khả năng viết của tôi còn siêu hơn, sao tôi không thử in sách ở nước Mỹ? Nước Mỹ luôn tạo điều kiện cho những ai có khả năng phát huy hết sở trường của mình, xuất bản tự do miễn là đừng phạm luật và vi phạm bản quyền. Vì thế mà tôi nói với ông con là tôi sẽ viết sách, không chỉ một cuốn mà mấy chục cuốn, không chỉ một lĩnh vực mà nhiều lĩnh vực. Tôi nhớ đến câu chuyện tôi viết về chống ung thư. Với mọi người ung thư là hung thần bất trị nhưng với tôi khi hiểu biết sâu sắc các vấn đề liên quan đến ung thư, tôi đã tự chữa trị như chữa cảm cúm, tôi đã viết về chuyện đó. Có bài viết của tôi hàng ngàn người Mỹ vào đọc một lúc. Vì thế tôi thấy trước nhất mình nên viết một cuốn về chuyện chiến thắng bệnh ung thư đó, biên tập từ những bài tôi đã viết và viết thêm về cơ sở khoa học của nó là sẽ hoàn chỉnh. Khổ cái là phải viết bằng tiếng Anh. Không nghe, không nói được tiếng Anh ở Mỹ nhưng tôi nói với ông con “Ba sẽ viết bằng tiếng Anh”. Thấy nó ngạc nhiên tôi tiếp: “Nhiều lĩnh vực ba không học một giây nào còn viết được huống hồ tiếng Anh ba từng đi học tập trung 1 năm hồi ở Viện Dược”. Thực tế, nghe, nói được là do phản xạ, còn viết được cần có tri thức không chỉ về tiếng Anh mà còn phải có tri thức về điều mình viết. Vì thế nên tôi hoàn toàn có thể viết dược. Rất tiện là có công cụ dịch của Google, nhưng nó chỉ như từ điển, vì nhiều cách viết tiếng Việt, Google không thể dịch được. Và đúng 2-9 vừa rồi, sau vài tuần, tôi đã viết xong một cuốn hơn 100 trang, về vấn đề cực khó nên viết mỏng vậy thôi.

Hôm nay tôi đăng bài đầu tiên về kỷ niệm buồn của tôi ngày mới vào đời ở Bộ Y tế, cũng vì nghe được cái tin em cựu bộ trưởng đã từ chức vì là nạn nhân của một cuộc đấu đá. Ai không biết tiếng Anh có thể dịch qua Google, nếu viết chuẩn thì Goole hoàn toàn dịch được.

The story of a writer who used to be pharmaco-chemical researcher, himself and help his friend cure cancer

I studied Chemical Faculty of University of Ho Chi Minh City. In year ends, I was also selected for the training of University lecturer and researchers at research institutes.

Study finished, I applied to teach at university and accepted, but I was Invited to work at a pharmacy research institute by a officer of institute. It is the Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry under the Ministry of Health of Vietnam. So I dropped out teaching at University and opted to work at research institute.

I in to the research institute, the first thing I work with a team that extract active ingredient is Berberin of “vàng đắng” tree. Its scientific name is Coscinium usitatum, which grows in the forest of Vietnam. Berberin is an alkaloid used to treat diarrhea, dysentery, intestinal inflammation, jaundice, fever, malaria, poor digestion, eye pain.

Then I did some more work but memorable and most importantly, I was assigned to lead a research team to work extract Vinblastin substance from “Dừa cạn” tree, Its scientific name is Catharanthus roseus or Vinca rosea. This plant grows wild and is grown as a ornamental plant. Vinblastin is used to treat white blood is a type of leukemia.

Content of vinblastine in Vinca rosea is very low, only about 1 in 10,000. 10 tons of Vinca rosea only extracted 1 kg vinblastine. So work is very difficult. We extracted with ethanol (Ethanol, C2H5OH), concentrated, refined to obtain the total alkaloid. Pour the total alkaloid solution through the chromatographic columns, The active ingredients will be gradually separated, Select sections containing Vinblastin. The solution is concentrated, crystallized, we will obtain Vinblastin. Vinblastin price is very high, heard millions of dollars per kg, at the laboratory scale, We have done several grams. I am very happy, prepared to study on a larger scale. But then a surprise happened. The team leader of research is me was replaced, because simply the new leader of the research institute receive positions. This person is a woman who does not like me. That year was 1989. I was sad but not surprised because after nearly ten years in the research institute, I knew, the group of leaders of the institute had divided the faction to fighting each other to take over Director position of research institute . Short story, the first Literary work of my writing life is “The story of two people” which write about that fight, and that is the main reason the leader of institute do not want me to continue to work in the research institute. I am very sad to suddenly get out of work is not completed yet. As if removed the baby from my hands. But after I left, the fight continues, my research institute finally broke down, And of course, my anti-cancer research work has never been completed.

Then I applied to work at the Agricultural Chemical Research Center of Vietnam Pesticides Company. Here I was again assigned to lead a team continuing to research to produce a pest control product that preserves postharvest agricultural products. This work has lasted more than 20 years but not completed because the Active ingredient of that product causes fire and explosion. After three years I finished that work. My product was tested by a International Workshop on Reducing Postharvest Loss with 18 participating countries (hosted by ACCT and Bordeaux) in Binh Tay rice warehouse and it is evaluated equivalent to the German product. A member of the French delegation asked to buy our products for use in France. Then my research work were sent to the contest in “Creative Science and Technology” of Ho Chi Minh City 1993 and I was awarded A is the highest award.

So obviously I have the ability to scientific research, but I don’t know if my sad story in that research institute because of social reality or because the my fate. I have applied for no longer work at state agency, for work at home. I have created some nutrition products for plant, set up production and business bases to make money for my wife and children. And as have a mission I have to write. At first I wrote poetry, wrote short stories, wrote literary criticism and, finally, I am a experienced and knowledgeable person, front of the vibrant life, there is a lot of good and evil is not clear and the society has many weaknesses and wrong. So, I wrote a lot to discuss about politics, was admitted as a member of the Vietnam Writers Association.

As usual, I lost a lot so perhaps I have to go “fight” against the state of Vietnam like as many people on behalf “dissent” in Vietnam. But I only write critique, pointing out the mistakes and weaknesses of Vietnamese society with constructive attitude, expect Vietnam to stabilize and develop. I also oppose those who take advantage of the freedom of speech, take advantage of the bad things of Vietnamese society, exaggerate and distort to fight the regime, destabilize for the Vietnamese society and the peaceful life of people.

Even though thus, I am a science researcher, I always enjoy reading, learning, updating achievements in many fields of science, and when more and more older, I pay close attention to the research results related to health care, especially healthy diet and can treat diseases including cancer.

More than a dozen years ago, when my acquaintance had cancer, I studied about cancer treatment by Japanese vegetarian diet. The method has many mystical complex argument of the East, but is the researcher, I understand the deepest essence of the problem is to have to cut off source supplies the essential amino acid for the tumor which in the diet is often too excess to the needs of the body, when people eat animal flesh. If only a essential amino acids is lacking, the cell will not have a “brick” attached to the amino acid chain that makes up the complete protein for the tumor grow, and it will starve and die. But my acquaintance do not understand, not only vegetarian but also their meal has too much meat, and final they are dead.

A few years ago, I saw the mole under my left eye it is grows and itchs! I’m afraid that it can turn into melanoma. No need to go to the clinic, I plan to treat myself, at meal I not only do not eat animal meat but also not eat anything, only drink coconut juice. To make this change, is difficult, but thinking that getting cancer is leading to death, so I decided to do it. Finally, the result is wonderful, after about 10 days only drink coconut juice, the mole gradually shed and fall off! I know that it is true that it has turned into melanoma, because just like that, it was affected by eating, many other normal moles on my body are still intact.

A few months ago, before going to the US, a friend made an appointment with me after he had surgery to remove liver cancer. I met him and advised to apply the Japanese vegetarian diet. I am a writer so I also wrote a blog post for people to know and apply. Post up, in the US sometimes there are thousands of people read my blog at the same time.

But sadly, one day, I saw my wrist, the place to wear the watch, has a purple black spot. Again melanoma! Even though I was once successfully treated myself melanoma, I was still very worried. It seems that God has challenged me, I have to do it again once more, as people used to say ” Words must have books, Advice must have evidence”. When I advised my friend, I must do the same.

This is a true story of real people. The author hopes people find and read to apply when needed. Only with determination and understanding, no need for money, the patient still can win the cancer, which most the disease is often discovered late, modern medicine also often does not help people prevent death.
